An incredibly rainy and sloppy Louisiana summer has been the cause for many accidents across the state. Serious accidents resulting in serious injuries have occurred throughout the past few months, including ones that no one can say exactly what happened. Like in Webster, Louisiana for example, there was an accident that reportedly caused injuries, but no one knows exactly how the accident came about.
It happened during a flash rainstorm a week or so ago, between two normal sized cars and an 18 wheeler. While none of the witnesses can attest to how the wreck initially started, it is known that one car ended up in a flood pond while the 18 wheeler ended up in the right hand shoulder of the interstate, and the last car was found in the center median of the interstate.
The driver of the car that went into the pond was reportedly pulled out of the vehicle by an onlooker, and had minor injuries. Other injuries incurred in the accident were not listed, but the wreck is still under investigation from State Police. Traffic was backed up on this section of the interstate for several hours as police worked to clean up the accident in the bad weather.
