Police in Duson, Louisiana are investigating a car accident that happened last Sunday night involving a pedestrian. The facts around this accident are unclear and rather ambiguous, but it has been reported that it happened late at night in the main town of Duson near the 200 block of Fourth Street.

The chief of Duson police, Frank Andrews said that they incident occurred when the victim Randy Bourque was walking in the street Sunday night. Apparently the driver did not see Bourque and he was struck by a car. The model, make, and driver's name have not been released to the public from the police department. Toxicology reports are pending for all of those involved in this accident, and no citations have been made.

Andrews is listed as in stable condition for moderate injuries at the Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was not released if the driver sustained injuries, or if there was a passenger who sustained injuries in the car. All citations will be made when the toxicology reports come back from the lab, but as of right now no legal action has been pursued for this accident.
