A Louisiana woman was booked into the hospital earlier this month when she was involved in a serious car accident allegedly caused by her ex-boyfriend. State police say that the woman in question, name not released, was driving to get away from him as he attacked her. This turned into a pursuit which ended in several charges for driving under the influence, and domestic abuse.
The lady in question was driving a white Pontiac grand prix down U.S. 90, allegedly driving away from her ex-boyfriend who was tailing her in his pick up truck. According to her, she was then rear ended by the man, which caused her to loose control of the vehicle and crash. State police say that further investigations into her story proved correct, and her ex-boyfriend was booked.
The woman sustained serious injuries in the car accident, and her car had massive body damage. She was taken immediately following the accident to a local hospital and has been listed in critical condition. Her boyfriend was taken in and arrested on several charges in Ouachita Correctional center. Both parties were listed as having charges, but the woman only received a summons.
