Louisiana motorcycle accident kills one

A man from Kinder, Louisiana was killed this week after a crash on his three wheel motorcycle with a normal sized car. Reporting state police confirmed this week that the accident was indeed fatal, as sources were initially unsure of how the accident played out earlier this week.

The incident happened on Louisiana highway 165 near the milepost 11 just around 11:00am. It involved two vehicles, a three wheeled Honda motorcycle driven by Robert Brown of Kinder, Louisiana and a car driven by 57 year old John Tramonte. Apparently Tramonte was making a left hand turn from the southern shoulder of Highway 165 when he turned and hit the left side of the bike.

This caused the bike to loose control, which ended up injuring both people on the vehicle. They were both transported to the hospital, where Brown was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the accident. His passenger only sustained moderate injuries, and Tramonte did not sustain any. Toxicology reports are pending on all of those involved in the accident, though it is not a suspected factor in the accident. The investigation into this accident continues and remains open, no charges have been cited.
