An accident that occurred Labor Day weekend caused major traffic back up on the interstate near and around Slidell, Louisiana. The three car accident caused police to close down the left lane of traffic, and backed everything up for several hours as people were trying to work around the accident.
Exactly what happened to cause the accident is unclear, but sources say that it involved three cars and several people. Emergency vehicles were all over the scene of the accident, including an ambulance which suggests injury from the wreck.
