A man riding a bicycle in Baton Rouge, Louisiana was struck and killed this month by a pick-up driven by an unknown driver. The investigation into this accident continues as facts continue to emerge. Police have not released any type of citations, but they are coming.

The accident happened around the 5400 block of Cadillac street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana near Apperson st. It was reported at around 9:15pm to the police department. The man hit, 50 year old Dewayne Jackson and the identity of the man who hit him remains unknown.

Dewayne Jackson was transported to a hospital, where he later died of injuries sustained in the crash. No one knows if the driver of the pick-up truck was injured in this wreck, or if his car sustained damage. The investigation into this accident is ongoing, and citations have yet to be made.
