Late night Baton Rouge accident injures one

This weekend in downtown Baton Rouge, an extremely late night motorcycle accident seriously injured at least one person. Investigations into the accident are ongoing, and the details are not as specific as police figure out what exactly happened. It was a two vehicle accident, and involved several people.

The names of those involved in this accident have not been released, nor the specific amount of people actually involved in the accident. State police say that they know the accident was a head on collision between a motorcycle of unknown make, model, or year and a car of unknown make, model, or year on Government street. Pictures attached to the article display extensive car damage from the incident.

Reporting police said that there were injuries sustained in the wreck. The extent of the injuries is unknown, but at least one person was sent to a hospital. Witnesses say that they saw two motorcycle helmets among the wreckage, but could not give any more information.
