Houma, Louisiana accident kills father of three

A single car accident that took place in Houma, Louisiana this week claimed the life of a father of three and Louisiana native. The accident happened late Saturday evening in a residential strip of East Park Avenue in Houma, Louisiana. Witnesses to the accident say that the small strip of road is a frequent place for accidents, because of the curve and speed limit raise from 45 miles per hour to 55 miles per hour.

Chaz Boudreaux of Houma, Louisiana was driving home from a friends house heading west of East Park Avenue when, for unknown reasons, his car went over the centerline and drifted into a ditch. Then the truck he was driving struck a driveway, which caused it to become airborne. It landed on the front, but ended up flipping to come to a rest upside down. From pictures from the accident, the entire cab part of the truck was crushed underneath it's own weight.

The owner's of the home that Boudreaux landed in immediately rushed outside to try and talk to him, but he was unresponsive. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene shortly after, and Boudreaux was pronounced dead by Louisiana coroner's office. Alcohol was a suspected factor in this wreck, and routine toxicology tests are pending. Further investigation into this wreck is ongoing, and no citations have been made.
