Head on collison in Westlake Louisiana injures one

An accident in Westlake, Louisiana this week has sent a woman to the hospital with serious head trauma. Police report the accident to have occurred at night this weekend, between two cars on a local Highway 90. The woman injured is still listed as being in critical condition, and the investigation into this accident continues.

The wreck occurred at around 2 a.m. Saturday morning on Highway 90 in Louisiana. The woman, who has not been identified to the public, was driving a white Chevy of unknown model and year on the two lane road. Then, for some reason, her car began drifting over the centerline. When that happened, she ran head on into a 2002 silver Chevy pickup truck.

The woman was unrestrained, and suffered severe head trauma as a result. She was rushed to St.Pat's hospital for critical treatment and is still listed as being in critical condition. The other car and the passengers inside were all restrained and uninjured. Extensive body damage to both cars is revealed in attached pictures.
