A grisly car wreck outside of Dequincy, Louisiana this month claimed the lives of two people and seriously injured three others. Investigators looking into the accident have not released what they believe the cause was, or if the use of alcohol or another illicit substance somehow had something to do with the accident. The investigations into this wreck are on going, and citations have not yet been made.

The wreck happened on a local Louisiana highway in the morning hours, police say. 26 year-old Frank Angelle Jr was driving a pick-up truck down the highway when for reasons that are currently unknown, he crossed over the centerline. When he did, his vehicle made impact with another truck being driven by 33 year-old Anthony L. Jackson in the opposite direction. The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles, police say, and made them come to rest.

Both drivers of the vehicles were killed in this accident. It is unknown if they were properly restrained at the time of wreck, or if they were taken to hospitals before passing away. Angelle had three passengers in his vehicle that were taken to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The investigations into this accident continue as police run toxicology reports and figure out the cause of this gruesome accident.
