Car crashes into clothing store near Chalmette, Louisiana

Last week in Chalmette, Louisiana two people were injured when their car plowed into a department clothing store. Reporting accident police have stated that the accident is still under investigation, there have been no releases on what might have caused the accident.

The All About Me clothing store is located in Chalmette, Louisiana just near the local high school and was the scene of the accident. Around 3:14pm, a thunderbird plowed into the front of the clothing store. There was extensive damage to the store, and one clerk was moderately injured in the accident.

The two passengers inside the car fled from the scene of incident. Jose Antonio Hernandez-Ramirez was caught fleeing the scene and charged with several citations that included vehicular negligent injury, two counts of hit and run and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Police have not released if they think intoxication was involved in this accident, and the investigation is ongoing to locate the other man, and find the root of this accident.
