A serious car wreck in Bush, Louisiana this month has claimed the life of one Slidell native. 27 year-old Christina Maddalozza of Slidell, Louisiana was driving her vehicle down Louisiana highway 41 approaching the intersection with Louisiana highway 40 when the accident occurred. It was just after 6am when Maddalozza approached the intersection at an extremely high rate of speed. This caused her to rear end an empty 18 wheeler as it was turning across the intersection.

The driver of the 18 wheeler was 45 year-old Jana Sanasac who passed an onsite alcohol test.
