Earlier this month, a grisly accident on the Blue Bayou road near Houma, Louisiana killed one person and critically injured two others. The accident is still under investigation from the State Police, and toxicology tests are still pending for all of those involved in the accident.

Witnesses report that the accident happened around 11:00am, close to the Terrbonne-Lafourche parish line. Dwayne Harris was driving his 1992 Nissan pickup truck on the two lane road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vechile and went off the road. Harris then over corrected and crossed the center line, making head on impact with a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by Kylan Domangue. Harris's passenger, Burnell Jackson was ejected from his seat from the impact of crash, and pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. Domangue and Harris were taken to hospitals immeditely for critical injuries sustained in the accident.

State police report that the accident is still pending, and that routine toxicology tests required by state law for fatal accidents are still pending for all involved. Charges have not been sited for this accident, and both Domangue and Harris are still in the hospital, being treated for their injuries.
