A woman from Eunice, Louisiana this month caused a serious accident when she entered the interstate in the wrong direction. Sources reporting on the accident says the woman was driving the wrong way on interstate 10 near Baton Rouge. The other vehicles involved in this accident were going the right direction. The use of alcohol is an obvious suspected factor on the part of the woman from Eunice. Investigations into this accident continue, and citations have not been made.
27 year-old Dana Brooke Veillon began the tragic wreck near the Harding boulvevard exit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is unknown how she made it up the exiting ramp unscathed, but Veillion was caught near that exit driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-10. The result was a direct impact with a 2007 Toyota Tundra and a 1999 GMC Suburban before emergency personnel could stop the vehicle.
Dana Brooke Veillon was killed in the car accident and died at the scene. There were four passengers in the Tundra- Chase Phillips, his wife, and two children. Phillips and his wife suffered mild to moderate injuries, and had to be taken to a hospital. The 1999 GMC Suburban was driven by Sharen Clarke, and had one child passenger. Clarke suffered moderate injuries, and the child minor. Both were taken to the hospital.
