A wreck near the East Baton Rouge parish and Ascension parish line in Louisiana this month has taken the life of one man. The accident happened on Interstate 10, and involved two vehicles says investigators. Only two people were involved in this wreck as well, and the use of substances is not a suspected factor in this accident.

It happened around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, sources say. 61 year-old Stephen Zettlemoyer of Baker, Louisiana was driving his 2001 Toyota Prius at the time of the wreck. Traffic ahead of Zettlemoyer was congested, and a Ford Expedition being driven by 61 year-old William Dawson of Gonzales, Louisiana had come to a stop. Zettlemoyer did not have time to brake, and collided with the hind of Dawson's expedition. Zettlemoyer's vehicle then began to spin, and went into the median of the interstate.

Dawson received only minor injuries from the accident, and was able to move his vehicle to the shoulder of the road. Zettlemoyer died at the scene of the wreck according to police. At this time, the investigation into this accident continues as law officials get blood results from the lab and gather more evidence. It is unknown what kind of citations or charges are being made in this wreck, but it is expected to close soon.
